Yesterday Lane and Mom traveled from Beijing down to Changsha.
When we talked to them via Sky.pe last night (Sunday morning China time) they were sitting in a Star.bucks drinking coffee and using the Wi.Fi there. If there is a Star.bucks to be found, just like his dad, Lane will seek it out. Talking to them this morning (Sunday night China time) they have yet to find a Star.bucks in Changsha.
The flight was 2 hrs long and uneventful. They checked into the hotel and just vegged there for the day. They did try to head out to find a convenient store to get drinks and such but they never found it.
As I write this very short post, it's 8 hrs or so from Emi Day. I told Lane this morning before they went to bed that I'm having a hard enough time sleeping and I am going to stay up until I see her in his arms. I don't care how late it is. The children are supposed to arrive late morning. There is one other family from our agency and several other families from other agencies. Lane's not sure how many total. I'm still just completely floored that this is really happening. I'm getting so excited!!!
