Like I said, lots to catch up on. However, I'm going to start one blog post at a time. It would take way too much time to try and get it all into one. Plus, I'm sure people would get bored really fast. Last Saturday I had birthday number 30-something. I got a new W.i.i. game and the little gadget pictured above. I call her LuLu. It's pretty nifty and has some really cool features. We did some shopping that day for Emilija of course. Still getting this and that. I just need to write a list of things I still need.

This giraffe ride on is too cute!! I was browsing We B Toys online last night for something else and found it. I think Emi has to have one. Now do I go buy it myself or wait to see if someone else gets it for her???

Yesterday morning we got updated info and photos on Emi from our agency. We were so not expecting them at all.
Updated stats:
Weight - just under 20 lbs
Height - 29 inches tall
Feet - 5 inches long
We know she's had her lip repaired but not sure about her palate. It looks like she could be cruising when we meet her too. I love the look in the 1st photo. It's very much an, "I'm busy. What do you want?" look.
OK, I'm done for today. Need to get back to the grind and everything that has to get done.

HELLO, i am a single mom who adopted my son 2 years ago from Hunan and he to had cleft lip and palate. His lip was repaired in China and palate was done at Childrens in Boston after we got home. Oh, Liene ! Her lip looks so good ! I know you can't wait to eat her up !
They usually only repair the lips in China, they always wait months in between surgeries. Hopefully you can get her home and get the palate surgery scheduled for the fall. Getting the palate fixed asap is what is vital to the speech ! This is why Riley has so many problems, because he was almost 3 when he got his palate fixed, and so now he has a severe speech impediment as they say !

Emi's lip looks wonderful and she is so adorable. The doctors did a really nice job. They are actually very skilled with cl/cp surgeries because the number of them that they do.
I would assume that her cleft is still not fixed. Sofia's lip was also repaired 5 days before we got there but the cleft was not. They usually only do the outside and we also had to have the doctor do a minor lip revision and open Sofia's nostril a bit more on top of the cl/cp.
Emi looks so sweet and I love those cheeks!
