This, That and 3 Days to Go!

Three days until departure!!! I still can't believe it's almost here. Everyone keeps asking if I'm excited. Yes and no. It still doesn't seem real to me. I don't know at what point it will seem real. Maybe when I see her via video chat with Lane. Maybe when she gets here and is in my arms. I can't answer that question right now.

I am starting to pack Lane and all of his stuff. I've got most of Emi's stuff together. Not sure what Lane is taking for himself. It's going to be hotter than Hades there. So I am not sorry I'm missing out on that. Lane and my mom are going to melt. But I think melting will be all worth it.

We've had gifts slowly trickling in for Emilija. I have pictures of two of them that I'm finally posting. I've got lots of picture catching up to do.

The 1st gift is from our friends Jeff, Jessica and Clara, their daughter. Clara is only about 2 months younger than Emi. So when we move back to Indy in a few years, Emi will already have some friends waiting for her. I've known Jessica since we were freshman in HS. That's a freakin' long time - 20 yrs!!! Granted we were out of touch for about 10 of those years but reconnected and really glad we did. They got Emi the cutiest little dress I've seen. I love the polka dots. They also got her a pair of jammies that has strawberries all over it. They are really cute too. She definitely needed more jammies.

The gift below came from Marty, Robin and Maddy over at Buckeyes & Eggrolls. I got this a few months ago but like I said, I'm behind on photo sharing. We loved Bay-bee Einstein since Eriks. He had a few infant toys that were made by them. The divided dish is too cool and I'm sure it will keep Emi entertained in China since I'm only sending a few toys. The snacks are great as are the adoption stickers. I've been telling myself I should start doing scrapbook pages now so I can just layout photos once they're developed but that would be too easy. Thanks Marty, Robin & Maddy!

My parents drive in tomorrow. My dad will be with me the entire time Lane and my mom are in China. So it will be good to have an extra pair of hands around.
