Hump Day

I'm going to make this short and sweet because I've got too much sh*t to do around here today.

  • We have an addition to the family - the extended family at least. My cousin A and her husband S welcomed their first child, a boy - 8lbs 11oz into the family on Thursday, Feb 14th. He came into the world 6 days before his due date which I am thankful for because it would've been interesting if he had been born late and on the 29th! Welcome to the world Nicholas!
  • Exams are finally over with. For now at least. Took the last one yesterday and before I used to fly through my exams, now I'm using every bit of the 2 hrs allotted. Back to lessons and then finals.
  • Only 2 more months until Walt Disney World!!!!
  • Yoga classes start tonight and I can't wait because I'm so ready to get this fat a$$ into shape. I'm tired of being overweight and wearing size 18 pants. It's sick because I only wear large on top, but I've got that lovely pear shape!
  • Finally going on a date this weekend with the hubs. We've been meaning to hire our babysitter and go out to dinner or see a movie but life has just gotten in the way.
  • Heading to USCIS on Friday to do our 1 free extension for our I-171H. Not looking forward to the 2 1/2 hr drive, but not to far away there is a really nice mall and I need to go buy stuff at Sephora. I'm almost out of one of my Smashbox eye shadows. Might have to hit the Yankee Candle store as well.
  • Eriks was supposed to start soccer next Monday but they're pushing it back to start the first Monday in March. Holy sh*t - March starts next week. Where the H-E-L-L did February go?
  • Sold hubby's old car - the Jetta. Put it out on the lemon lot on base on Monday afternoon, sold the car on Tuesday and got paid for it on Wednesday! We were floored that it sold that quick. Kind of pi$$ed we let it sit in the driveway as long as we did.
  • Speaking of selling things, need to get my rear in gear and get stuff listed on eBay to make some extra cash for the Disney vacation. I've easily got $500 worth of stuff...I was going to say crap, but it's not crap...it's just stuff I never used. A few things I used once or twice.
  • I was so not impressed by the guys on AI last night. I was pretty disappointed. Some did OK, but there was not a single guy whose performance wowed me last night. And I'm such a female Simon Cowell. I can't believe how many times I said the word, "Boring" during or after a performance and Simon said the same thing. Here's hoping the girls rock it out tonight.
Time to get back to laundry, cleaning, studying, and getting the little man some lunch before he goes to take his nap and I go hit the showers. I know I'm a slacker but I've been working my a$$ off this morning. It was time for a break. And I'm really liking this bullet posting.

Ok.. so I don't think the girls did any better... I don't know why they keep saying this is the BEST season yet.. can't figure that one out.

Hope you have fun at Disney!!

We watch AI too, but had to tape the guys singing.... we still need to watch it! So haven't picked a favorite yet. I will say this may be the best AI of all..... if this was a modeling competition!
Yoga - I haven't tried it... I am needing a good exercise class but wish I had a local friend to join with me.....
Loved reading your blog. Take care!
