Halloween Recap

OK, I'm so not happy with blogger right now. I have no idea what the h-e-double hockey sticks is going on with it. Oh well. It's not allowing me to do what I want. So you'll have to bear with me through this post. Sorry. After some desperate pleas for pictures, here they are. Halloween only got marginally better. We went to a Halloween party thrown by our karate studio down at one of the local universities. One of the instructors was telling us how great it was and how much awesome candy they were giving out. I was seriously disappointed. Awesome candy to me = CHOCOLATE. I think Eriks walked away with 3 or 4 pieces of chocolate. The rest was suckers and various other hard candy. Truly disappointed but he had fun so I guess it's all about him. When we did leave we took him to a friends neighborhood to go trick-or-treating. It wasn't a complete wash for him. As you can see from the photos, Lane and dressed up as well. We were actually encouraged to but man that wig i was wearing was so itchy and drove me crazy!!! Not sure I'm going to wear the wig again.



To the left is a photo of Eriks playing one of the games at the Halloween party. They had to play games in order to get candy which was OK, but I think they should've had people at the door to load up the kids with stuff too. Not that we needed anymore Halloween candy. My mother sent Eriks a Halloween package like she does every year with candy and other various goodies. Plus when we were in California we went to Mickey'$ Trick-or-Treat Party at Cali-fornia Adventure and we hauled in a ton of candy. And good candy at that - lots of chocolate which included Ghir.adelli. Now Di$ney knows how to give away the good stuff. We've got enough to last us awhile.

OK, time to get moving on the day. Tomorrow I promise I'll post a CA trip report and see if I can find that list of questions you all asked me to get them wrapped up. The guilt is setting in for being a blog slacker.
