Thus far it has been a really crappy Halloween. My alarm never went off this morning so I woke up at 6:50 which is 15 minutes before we usually head out the door for school. Well, we left at 7:20 and thankfully made it to school on time but I was not happy since I ended up packing Eriks a less than nutritional lunch and he ate a bagel and some cheese in the car on the way to school.
Then before I picked up Eriks from school I had to pick up Lane from the airport. Parking outside of baggage claim has a 15 minute maximum. His flight was running a few minutes late so I went about 3 minutes over the time limit. Walk to the car and what do I find...A FREAKIN' PARKING TICKET!!! I was ticked to say the least. Luckily it was only $15 dollars but that's $15 I could've spent somewhere else. So I've been getting more tricks than treats today.
Hopefully things will turn around tonight. After I finish this up I need to go start getting ready for a Halloween party. I'm going at Cleopatra - wig and all. I'll be sure to post some photos this weekend. This is the 1st time I've dressed up in years!

Eeks!! Well, honey, just keep telling yourself it could be worse. Stay positive. Eriks was fed, he got to school. So you got a ticket! Just think of all the good that fifteen bucks will do the govt. Ok, now laugh and go about your flirting with Mark Antony.
