Happy Mother's Day!!!

Just wanted to wish all my family and friends (those who I know in person and those who I know via the World Wide Web) a very Happy Mother's Day!!! This wish is not only for those who are physically parenting children, but those who will soon hold their children, those who hold children in their hearts and those who will hold children in the future.

My Mother's Day has been fairly quiet although I've been having to contend with a 3 year old who didn't get much of a nap and is doing a lot of back talking and naughty behavior today.

I did get some really nice gifts today from Lane and from Eriks. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for loving me as much as they do.

This is what I received from my kiddo and my hubby for Mother's Day:



I got 2 dozen roses from Sam's Club. Why pay the florist that kind of money when Sam's does a fabulous job!!



I received a $25.00 Gift Card to one of my favorite places - STARBUCKS!!! I could go there every day!!!

And finally...



I received a Sony Digital Camera. I have one that's almost 5 years old and slow as molasses. I had gotten a Canon SLR film camera about 18 months ago and I LOVE IT! But, when I travel, especially on an airplane it proves to be difficult to transport. The nice thing about this new camera is that it's so small I can easily slide it into my purse and carry it with me often. I have a wedding in about 3 weeks to attend and this will be great!!!
