Questions, Questions...

I borrowed this from another blogger who is also adopting from China. Although she will receive her daughter much sooner than I will. I thought it would be fun and would allow some of you into getting to know me a bit better.



1. Can you cook? My husband thinks so - but I know I'm a good cook thanks to some great teachers - my mom, my grandmother and my great-aunt.
2. What was your dream growing up? To be a ballet-dancing, beauty queen doctor.
3. What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could sing better. I'm not a horrible singer, I'm just not American Idol material.
4. Favorite place? Don't know if I really have a favorite place, but probably the beach or Garezers.
5. Favorite vegetable? I love almost all veggies - don't have a favorite.
6. The last book you read? A murder-mystery book.
7. What zodiac sign are you? Gemini
8. Any Tattoos and / or Piercings? 4 piercings, all in the ears.
9. Worst Habit? it has to be biting my fingernails. They're so fragile and break easily.
10. Do we know each other outside of this blog? Nope.
11. What is your favourite sport? College basketball is 1st but NFL football comes in a very close second with my home team being the current Super Bowl Champs - GO COLTS!!!
12. Negative or Optimistic attitude? I tend to be more optimistic than my husband, but trust me, I can be negative, especially when I'm not getting what I want.
13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator? Hope I had a book to read while they worked on getting me out!
14. Worst thing to ever happen to you? That's a toss up. Our house has been robbed but I've also had fairly risky surgery.
15. Tell me a weird fact about you: I have bubble gum toe nails. My mother hates them and hates that I paint them in fairly bright colors during the summer. I used to hate them but now I'm really proud of them. They're part of what makes me unique.
16. Do you have any pets? There's 3 of them in this house - the black & chocolate labs and then a kitty.
17. Do you know how to do the Macarena? I'm embarrassed to admit it, but yes I do.
18. What time is it where you are now? 2:10 pm CDT.
19. Do you think clowns are cute or scary? I like the ones at Ringling Bros, but in general I think they're kind of weird.
20. If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? My weight. I'm struggling to lose about 30 lbs.
21. What color eyes do you have? Green but sometimes they look a little bluish.
22. Ever been arrested? No.
23. Bottle or Draft? It depends on the beer. Most of the ones I like taste better on tap but I'd have to go to a bar to get them that way.
24. If you won $10,000 dollars today, what would you do with it? Pay off the last of our debt and then put the rest towards my new minivan.
25. What kind of bubble gum do you prefer to chew? Don't chew bubble gum.
26. Which is your favourite bar to hang at? Don't have one - I'm a home body.
27. Do you believe in ghosts? No
28. Favourite thing to do in your spare time? Internet, read & make jewelry.
29. Do you swear a lot? Not really, but when I get REALLY mad, I'm known to become a slight potty mouth.
30. Favorite swear word? Dammit is probably my favorite with S-H-I-T a close second.
31. Biggest pet peeve? Really stupid and ignorant people.
32. In one word how would you describe yourself? Creative. I love artsy stuff and making things. I took A LOT of art classes in high school and college. I have a knack for it. My sister is way better at the drawing part of art. Her work is awesome!!
