Overdue Pictures

I admit, my blogging as of late has s.u.c.k.e.d. Especially with pictures of Eriks. I can't count the number of emails I've received asking when pictures of Eriks are going to show up again on the blog. Glad to know I'm loved. It's all about the kids.

So the 1st one is of us in front of my parents tree on Christmas Eve. Lane and I were suffering from colds. I worse than him. The skin on my face is so sensitive and can get irritated easily. So after blowing my nose about 10x's an hour, I started to look like R.udolph and it shows in the photo. Yuck! But it's a pretty darn good photo. We were going to use it as our Christ.mas card photo but those never got out. Instead I'm heading to a major retailer sometime in the next few days to print Valen.tine's photo cards and send an update letter with our new address instead. That's what happens when you move during the holidays. I will never do it again!!!

Eriks and the toy that Sa.nta brought him. He loved it. Amazingly enough though, it's just 3 1/2 weeks past Christ.mas and he doesn't play with a whole lot of the toys he received so my thought next year is 3 or 4 gifts tops, no matter how badly I want to spoil him. It might make him appreciate what he's got.

Two days after Christ.mas we had a belated birthday party for the little man at CEC. I will never have another party there again. I still have to deal with corporate over the fiasco. The staff was rude, especially the hostess. I would've liked to have smacked her. We still had almost 30 minutes of party time she came up to me and said, "Have you paid your bill yet? You know your party time is ending soon." I looked at her and said, "I still have almost 30 minutes left and I will pay for it when I am good and ready." I shouldn't have had to pay for it to begin with, but that's another story in itself that I will not discuss on my blog. It's irrelevant.

The important thing is the kids had a really good time. After the party we had a bunch of people come back to my parents house to socialize some more and the kids were running around like crazy. They had a blast.

Almost all of the kids. I tried to get them all in but it was too difficult. I love the face Eriks is giving me. It's very much the, "Awe, not another photo!" look.

Eriks and my brother's girlfriends, daughter Alexandria before we sang Happy Birthday to him. I noticed after I uploaded this photo that Eriks had blue teeth from the cotton candy he was eating.

We had a playdate with Lisa and Briana on Friday. My goal is to get better about blogging and posting photos. So, look for a playdate post in the next few days. If it doesn't show call me out on it!!!
