I am so looking forward to seeing this movie. I'm probably heading to the theater for a matinee by myself tomorrow. Although I have to say I wish I weren't seeing it alone but with Eriks gone, I'm taking the opportunity for a little alone time. Even though I really need to be working on the house.
When we were stationed in CA there was a group of gals that I became friends with. We volunteered at the thrift shop every Thursday night. The thrift shop is closed during the summer and we made the decision at the end of May that we would make Thursdays a regular thing. The regular thing was dinner and then a movie. The Sister.hood of the Tr@veling P@nts was one of the movies we saw together during the Thursday night ritual. All 4 of us loved it. So with the new movie coming out there's a little bit of sentiment that I'm feeling and wishing that I was seeing it with my girls. Unfortunately we're all over the place. S is in Vegas, J is in D.C. and L is in Norway. Makes it a little hard.
That's the one crappy thing about military life. You make friends and the military rips us all apart and sends us to all corners of the world.
