Why Did I Even Bother

So there was much talk about the putrid 3 days worth of referrals from the CC@@ this month. I shook my head in disbelief. I had set my hopes high that they would've matched 8-10 days this month. I so should not have done that.

To make matters worse, I went to China Adoption Forecast for grins to see how long we'd have to wait if we never got the opportunity to adopt a SN as we want to. This is what I saw based on plugging my LID in:

China has 335 days of dossiers to be processed before they get to your dossier. China currently processes about 5.7 days of dossiers each month.

Since China generally sends out referrals in a batch about once per month, your referral date could easily vary +/- one month depending on whether you just get included or just get missed in a particular batch.

I'm so sick about this. If this is the trend Eriks will be 10 yrs old and Lane will be SMACK DAB in the middle of law school!!!! I know everyone keeps saying that it will speed up again after the Olympics but I don't have much hope at this point that it will ever get better. This just really bites!!!!
