Three Word Sunday - Week 8 & 16 months down

Well it's official...Lane's left the 30somethings behind. The man looks no where near 40. Lane was dreading it but he realized that if you don't look your age you don't feel it, except after almost an hour of doing side kicks in karate. But I've reminded him also of that familiar saying, "Life begins at 40". He had a great birthday party last night and we rolled in at around midnight. For us, that's late!!! I'll show those pictures in the next few days. There were right out 15 of us and it was lots of fun!

And today it's offical...16 months since LID. I'm thinking about all my bloggy buds who got their referrals at 18 months and now the time between LID & referral is 27 months!!! Gasp!!! It really bites and as the months grow, I'm feeling farther and farther away from our daughter. Almost as though she's never going to get here. Time for the CCAA to put more SN kids on their multiple agency listings or to send our agency more SN kids for our eyes only.


We have 10 days to go until we head to FL and I'm going to be busy!!! Eriks now doing karate 3 times a week since we moved him up to Black Belt Club after being invited by his instructors. YEA Eriks!!! So between soccer, karate and yoga, I've got a farewell dinner for a dear friend who's moving to Atla.nta, finalizing things for FL, packing, school work, etc.. I'm starting to become a basket case.
