Three Word Sunday - Week 4

This says it all and it breaks my heart on a daily basis. This really came to a head this week. Eriks has been talking about his sister for months and has been asking about when we're going to China to get her. We keep telling him there are a lot of people in China and so they're having a hard time finding Emilija.

Friday after picking up our babysitter before I headed to the auction we were driving back to the house and Eriks was talking to Calli (the babysitter). She was asking him what he had been doing that week, etc. He says, "I was playing with my sister and we did..." This went on for quite a few minutes. I said, "Eriks, you don't have a sister yet." He got really mad and in a slightly angry and loud tone he said, "YES I DO! I was playing with her all week long."

So I have come to the conclusion that Eriks make-believe-friend is his sister. All the more reason I hope we find her soon. My poor kid. I so wish I could make his dreams come true. Come on China!!! Send more SN kids and speed up those referrals!!!!

He can pretend to be Clara's big brother. I am sure she will need and want one. She should be born oh, about anytime now.
