3 word Sunday...
The Divine Ms M started this last Sunday but I was unable to follow through. This Sunday is a different story.
So I'm going to tell the story behind the photo. I haven been really hard on myself since it happened because it was such a f*ing stupid thing to do. So on Thursday morning, as most school days, Eriks drags to get himself out the door to the car. So once again we were hurrying to hit the road. Well, I was too close to the frame of the garage door and not watching what I was doing so I busted my mirror. I called Lane at work and said, "Don't be mad at me but I damaged the passenger side mirror on my car." I've owned the car for 3 freaking months! This shouldn't be happening!
So this week I'm taking it to the dealership and basically flushing down the toilet about $430.00 because I was careless. I think that's why I'm so hard on myself. There's so much more we could've done with that $$$ than have to use it to fix the car. Especially since we've become money hoarders and don't like spending it unless we have to. We'd like to retire well off as well as secure and not having to worry about where retirement money is coming from and not having to rely on Social Security.

EEEKKK! That sucks! I can't tell you how many careless things I have done. :)
Oh, I'm so sorry. We all have those moments. Don't be too hard on yourself!
Girl ! I thought you might have done it today after we went to church !
Take a good look at car at church next week ~
Get a good laugh too !
LOST, not bent, but LOST it to a mailbox !
And then LOST, not bent, but LOST the left one to an ATM machine !
It sucks to pay it !
Did you see my new blog ? I am so excited about it !

Jeff and I had to replace the same tire due to curbs twice, $500 a piece, within months of each other. All due to the fact that we were not paying attention.
Oh well, the dealership knows us pretty well now. We talk to them often, like every week.
Bummer! Blame it on "pregnancy" brain. I lost my gas cap when preg w/Quinn and did a few other careless things I've since blocked out. And like you, I was so hard on myself about it. I hated being a dingbat, but hubby says no diff than usual. So nice, eh? ;-)
Here's to a better week!
