that Eriks has resorted to standing in the dogs' water bowls to stay cool. As I'm typing this post the current outdoor temperature in sunny Little Rock, Arkansas is 102 degrees and feels like 107. Ouch! I couldn't even step outside my feet were on fire. So I can't blame the kiddo for trying to stay cool. I thought everyone would get a laugh at the photo. I know I was laughing at the poor kid. Two nights ago we set up the sprinkler in the backyard to keep our grass from turning brown since it doesn't look like there's any rain in sight for the next 10 days (I'm honestly praying for a hurricane). Eriks decided to strip off all his clothes and go running through it for about 45 minutes. He was having so much fun. I took pictures of that too but I know there's some loony out there that if I post a photo of my son's naked behind will send me some nasty email about child pornography. It's his butt, we all have one. I will say they are just too cute. I really wish I could share a few without feeling like someone will call the police on me.
Hope the rest of you are staying cool. I know you guys & gals in the Midwest are complaining about the heat, but I'd take 92 over 102 any day. It feels cool in comparison. I'm just waiting to see if we hit the high of 103 or not. I'm sure we will and on Wednesday we're supposed to hit 107. What the #@!%$ is that all about? It shouldn't be this freaking HOT!!!

And I'm with you- I think little kids' butt are adorable, but I wouldn't post them either. Too risky. 'Tis a shame, they're so squishable....:-)
Yes, it is gosh darn hot. I wouldn't worry too much about the pictures...I have theory that if you can't see the front of their *cough* area *cough*, it's not that big of a deal. I have pictures of Reese in the bathtub (you can't see below the waist-bubbles) posted because they're adorable. I think if you can't see their stuff and they don't look like they're being forced to be "nakey" than, hey, it can't be porn. Just my opinion.
All to their own opinion though.
It is way too hot though, I agree.
