The first 4 pictures are from Easter. This is the first year we've dyed eggs since having him around. Two years ago we weren't here for Easter and last year we just didn't do it. I don't remember why. Eriks really enjoyed it and had wanted to do more. However, I don't eat eggs and a dozen was enough for Lane and Eriks to eat. As you can tell we stripped the boy of all of his clothes except his underwear. I didn't want any dye getting on and ruining his clothes. I guess I could've put on one of the long t-shirts he wears as a smock when he does art stuff. Oh well. In the second picture you can see how proud he is of his eggs. I think they turned out fabulous!!!
Easter morning was fun. Eriks left out lettuce for the Easter Bunny that the dogs found and ate. Fine by us because we were just going to throw it away if they didn't. But it was cute that he was so thoughtful of the Easter Bunny. My mom sent him all the candy with sugar in it and we got him the sugar-free kind which I actually really like eating. It's so much better than it used to be. And he can't tell the difference because he says it's "delicious". Eriks also got some book and 2 DVD's in his basket - Handy Man*ny and 101 Dalma*tions. Eriks also got a Leap*ster handheld gaming system. He loves it. The games are fun and it keeps him occupied and learning. We do limit it so that he's not sitting around all day playing it. We usually give it to him when we're trying to get something done or we're in the car. It'll keep him occupied on the airplane down to Florida next month.
Isn't he the cutest kid in the world??? We took this when we got home from church. I love this shirt and tie. He'll wear that same outfit when we schedule his pictures soon. I think it's too cute for him not to wear for photos. Plus my mom has been asking when we're taking his pictures again. It has been almost a year.
I have been really bad about posting photos of our SP gifts. I haven't done it the past 2 times and I feel so bad that I'm not sharing. This months theme was "Nighty-Night, Sleep Tight". So we got lots of goodies for bedtime and a few Easter goodies as well. Thanks SP!
And lastly...
CHOCOLATE!!! I'm a regular customer at a grocery store called The Fresh Market. We were there on Monday after soccer practice buying some staples and I saw the clearance Easter candy. I didn't need anymore. I have chocolate coming out my ears. However, I saw these:
Aren't they the cutest??? When I saw the duck I immediately thought of Pipo the duck fanatic. If she lived closer I would've bought her one to give her.
Below is my new addiction. However they are special edition that I only saw with the Easter candy. I bought one bag and now I wish I had bought more. I love chocolate & coconut together. I have a strong feeling this bag will disappear extremely quickly and I will be empty.
Eriks and Lane are signed up for Tae Kwan Do at a place just a few minutes from our house. Eriks will be taking his 3rd lesson tomorrow and Lane will have his first. Eriks loves it and I'm glad because it is a good outlet for him. More importantly our goal is for it to teach him self discipline and self-control. He's not horrible, he's just not really great with either one.

Eriks is SO cute! Love the pics!!!
Eriks is one handsome guy. He looks so grown-up in his tie!
Glad the bunny was good to you all. Easter weather was blech here, but almost spring now...discounting the 30 degree mornings! ;-)
