Today's Post is Brought to You By the Number...

Nine months down and so many more to go. I was thinking on my drive home from picking Eriks up from his MDO (Mother's Day Out) program that if I were pregnant, I'd be close to giving birth by now. Still my house is in chaos and it looks like I'll never get the front bedroom together and organized. It's just got a bunch of different stuff just shoved in it. There is no definite purpose to it and I hate it.

It's been a crummy day and has nothing to do with the LID of 9 months and a long way yet to go. I don't completely know what's gotten me in a funk. It seems like anytime we take 2 steps forward with Eriks he ends up taking 4 or 5 steps back. He was potty trained a year ago and today has gone through 3 pairs of underwear instead of going to the potty. Finally I had had enough and decided he was not going to pee through a 4th pair of underwear and promptly put him in his PJ's. He's defiant, he's mouthy and never wants to listen. Everyone tells me it's just his age but I'm still begging to differ. He doesn't want to entertain himself with the closet full of toys he has. And I can't devote all my time to entertaining him since I went back to school and have to study. I try to allot time to do things with him and it never seems to be good enough. I don't know what to do and it's so frustrating. I know, I could have worse issues with my child. I'm tired, I'm frustrated and at wits end with being a parent. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm truly cut out for motherhood.
