Quick post while on hiatus. I feel like I've lost my BFF today. I have been reading the FBOFW comic for as long as I can remember. I know some of you might laugh at me and think I'm crazy but a lot of her strips have resonated a lot of truth, especially in my life. They have made me laugh and have made me cry. And of course today, I just want to curl up on the sofa with a pint of Hagen-Dazs ice cream and feel sorry for this loss. Above is obviously the last strip of the series. I wish Lynn had written it for one more year. She had been writing the FBOFW strip for 29 yrs. It should've gone for an even 30. That's just me.So if you mourn with me, great. If not, that's OK too.

I know! I read that today and I couldn't believe it. I love the comic strip and have a lot of the books.
So, so sad...
I honestly felt the same when Bill Watterson quit doing Calvin and HObbes. It becomes such a part of your life!
I know...Now move over and give me a spoon! Misery loves company...
she is starting it all over with the what could have happened or with edits in it. It makes me sad too!
