Today we have been waiting 18 months for Emilija. I was trying hard to figure out how I was going to post this one. I want to be creative when I post every month down. Then it dawned on me that Peyton M@nning's number is 18. I'm from Indian.a and a huge Colt$ fan. Duh!!!! Plus Peyton is probably the most generous athlete out there. Did you know that all the money he makes from all the ads & commercials he does he contributes to his charitable foundations??? He helped open a 2nd children's hospital in Indy actually named Peyton M@nning's Children's Hospital. Now that's pretty awesome in my book. So I was able to work my obsession with football into our LID anniversary.
I still can't believe it's been 18 months. It shows how fast time goes by but also it reminds me that at 18 months Lisa and Colleen were seeing their little girls for the first time and the wait has grown to about 27 months. That's just crazy!!! I'm so ready for this wait to be over with. Like I've said in the past knowing our luck we will get our SN referral about the time we need to start planning on moving from here and having to travel to Chin@ about the time that we have to be at our next and last assignment.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. We're planning on having a garage sale to get rid of all the stuff in our garage that I showed off on Sunday. Hopefully we'll have LOTS of $$$$$ afterwards.

Happy 18 months! Funny, I remember sitting with Colleen (and Tracy and Connie) in FL. trying to figure out what month Colleen would get her referral for Hannah.***sigh***

I want this wait to be over for you so bad! I saw Briana after my 19 month LID and that was excruciating. 27 blows my mind. I hope you don't have to wait too much longer. Fingers crossed!
My brother-in-law and sister went to a Christmas party that Peyton Manning threw several years ago because my brother-in-law's brother was on the team and was invited. So they tagged along. My sis said he was so nice!
I know it's hard waiting, but Emilija is out there, I'm ready to become a GOD PARENT!...finally. I never really told you but thank you for pushing me to do it, I know your not the only one, your not the reason that I finally got confirmed, but you were that helped me finally realize that being confirmed was a very important step that I had to take in my Catholic faith. Thank You, hopefully now the lord will see how much you and our family wants Emilija to be part of our wonderful and loving family. Bucas, Es Tevi Milu
Happy 18 months! BTW, I liked your response to the thing about your neighbour's kid. You're right.....you are NOT your kids' friend, you are his PARENT and you have the right to choose who he hangs out with. Stick with it, sister!

I just hit 24 yesterday. The wait is hard. But we gotta keep hanging on. Someday it'll be our turn. Someday. :)
