New Blog Layout & Secret Pal Gift

So I finally found something I liked and this will stick around for awhile. I like the bright colors and boldness of the new blog layout. I just wish Blogger gave us more colors & templates to choose from. Oh well.

Also wanted to post a picture of my secret pal gift that I received before I left for vacation but never got around to posting as I didn't have time before I fled the heat for rest and relaxation. In September I will find out who my secret pal is and start a new secret pal swap in November. Unfortunately there were several people in the swap group who decided to flake and therefore the December DTC/LID owners decided to start all over again and only do it for 4 months (every other month) at a time. I think it's pretty bad when someone can't stick to something they signed up for knowing the rules. So far I have had an awesome secret pal and hope that the next one is just as great. So July was a "Coming to America" theme. I got the cutest outfit and t-shirt. My secret pal wrapped everything and had the t-shirt labeled for Lane and when he held it up and said, "I think it's a little small for me." Yeah, that's Lane's sense of humor for you. I won't tell you want he said at dinner as it is something that shouldn't be repeated to strangers and it was something that had me completely mortified as Eriks was in earshot although I don't think he heard. Let's just say it was a very adult comment!!!

Still have yet to develop those vacation photos. One of these days it'll happen.
