Wanted

Figuratively speaking. He'll be here on April 16th on his Summerzcool tour. Tickets went on sale yesterday and were sold out in no time and well, that left me high and dry. Lane and I consider ourselves P@rrotheads and have him playing on our i*Tunes playlist 85% of the time. He's also frequently on my XM via his Marg@ritaville station that was brought over from Sir.ius. Lane saw him in concert some 20 yrs ago while a student at University of Tex.as. Just thinking about it reminds me that I was like a freshman in HS 20 yrs ago (don't want to hear it). Lane's words to me earlier tonight, "Well he'll be back next summer." Yeah I told myself that every year with the Gr@teful Dead and well you know what happened there - Jerry Gar.cia died. My brother got to see the Dead several times - not fair. My response to Lane was, "Says the man who has seen him in concert!" I've already started scouting E*bay for tickets as well as a few other outlets. There is no way I'm missing out again. I've been promising myself for years that I'm going. If he doesn't want to go, I'll find someone else to go with me. I'm sure there are plenty of you readers out there that would be more than happy to come with me. Hell, my mother would drive down from Indi.ana to go with me.

An update on Eriks: he was feeling better later that afternoon. He's weird like that. He'll get a fever for about 6 -12 hrs and then bounces back in no time. I don't think he's run a fever for more than 24 hrs - ever. He's been nonstop on the go since Friday night. He's back to normal. I kind of like him when he's not feeling well because he's calm and chill.

I had a wonderful spa day yesterday. The massage was the bomb. I will go back and have her massage me again in the future. The facial was OK. It felt good but I don't think I'll ever have one done again. Just not worth it in my opinion. Not that I expect a miracle with my skin but I didn't even feel as refreshed as I thought I would. The pedicure was great and was a huge splurge. If I get a pedicure I go to one of those places in the strip mall where I can pay $25 for it. Yesterday's pedicure cost me $50, I think. The guy did an awesome job massaging my feet & legs and making them pretty. It probably was worth the money, but I just don't have that kind to blow every 3 weeks for a pedi.

I'll go with you to the show. I saw Buffet a couple years ago. Good show.

Glad you got rubbed the right way.

Count me in as one of your fellow Parrotheads! DW threw me a fantastic birthday party complete with family and friends one year in Key West with a Jimmy theme!

A massage sounds so good right about now. But what a bummer about the tickets. I'm not a Parrothead, but I do have a few groups I'd love to see like that.
