One week from tomorrow I will be sitting on the deck at my parents place on the lake in Michigan. I can't wait. After the hellacious week that I've had I'm so over a lot of stuff right now.
We got a lovely email at the end of the day (yesterday, Friay) from our agency stating that they had been denied Hague accreditation. What I'm aware this means is that our agency cannot get anymore WC files nor can they submit any more dossiers to the CC@@. I'm beyond pissed as this isn't a little agency. This is an agency that currently has over 750 families that have LID's and are waiting to be matched with children from China alone. I have been sick to my stomach over the news and have all but given up on ever adopting Emilija from China.
I have enough to be stressed about right now. I'm working my rear off to finish schoolwork. I'm trying to get my house ready to go on the market next month and worried I'm not going to sell it.
I need a drink. Anyone want to come share a bottle of wine with me??

If I drank I'd LOVE to have a bottle of wine with you. This entire thing happening with our agency (I got the same email on Friday so I'm assuming we are with the same) is so upsetting. Going into my 28th month, I am so scared and now feel like the last 28 have been a waste. I'm off to have a cup of ice water....

Oh Liene - I am so sorry to hear about the accreditation. I can't imagine how stressed and sad you are right now. Try to hang in there.
Don't give up on your daughter. This road is long and hard and filled with disappointment sometimes. But you have to believe that in the end you'll have her. (Or you'll go a little crazy... like I did recently. LOL!)
My agency also was denied. And won't get it at all from what I'm hearing. They've dropped their China program but are seeing thru to the end their in-process China families. They've partnered with a Hague approved agency to do so. Don't worry. It'll work out. My agency is very small and they solved the problem. I'm confident your's will get it together, too.
I'm not a big wine drinker, but I'd have a cup with ya, sister! I'm so sorry! So what's next? Do you have to go to a different agency? Man! I'm so sorry!

I am so sorry to hear that. Don't give up hope, though. It will happen. I have a good feeling about little girls right now :)
